Annual Tour to Beijing!
From Jun 1st to 5th, Xiamen Huakang Orthopedic Co., Ltd organized a five-day annual tour. This time our destination was our capital, Beijing!
Hengdian Film and TV City, a large-scale comprehensive tourist area integrating film and TV tourism, vacation, leisure and sightseeing, is rated as a national AAAAA level scenic spot.
The whole staff of Xiamen Huakang left Xiamen early in the morning of June 1, and after arriving in Beijing we watched an acrobatic show. After the show we went to taste Beijing specialties.
The next day was the richest day of the whole trip. We left at 3:00 in the morning and went to Tiananmen Square to watch the national flag-raising ceremony. As the flag slowly rose, patriotism is alive and well. We then visited the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall.
In the afternoon, we visited the Palace Museum, the largest museum of ancient culture and art in China and one of the three largest palaces in the world. In the Palace Museum, we got close to history and better understood the history of the Chinese nation.
After visiting the Palace Museum, we headed to the Temple of Heaven Park. The most iconic building in the Temple of Heaven Park is the Hall of Prayer for the Year of the Dragon. According to the guide's introduction, the Hall of Prayer for the Year of the Dragon is a place where ancient emperors performed prayers for blessings.
On the third day we visited the Summer Palace. Compared to the hot climate in downtown Beijing, our visit to the Summer Palace seemed much more comfortable. It is worthy of being the largest existing royal garden in China. The Summer Palace is mainly composed of two parts: Wanshoushan Mountain and Kunming Lake.
In the afternoon we visited Yuanming yuan. Yuanming yuan is one of the famous royal gardens of the Qing Dynasty. It is known as the "Garden of Gardens" and is one of the greatest buildings in China. Yet it was ruthlessly destroyed in the war. Now the Yuanming yuan has become a patriotic education base in China.
On the third day we went to climb the Great Wall. The Great Wall is an ancient Chinese military fortification. It is one of the seven ancient wonders of the world. There is a famous saying in China that "One who fails to reach the Great Wall is not a hero". Standing on the top of the Great Wall, overlooking the great mountains and rivers of the motherland, the sense of national pride jumped out of my heart.
We also visited other attractions in Beijing in the remaining time. This trip helped us to understand more about our motherland and the rise of our Chinese nation!
