Our New CTO-Cervical vertebrae-thoracic Orthosis Product
CTO (Cervical vertebrae-thoracic Orthosis) is used to treat fractures of the cervical and upper thoracic vertebrae. CTO keeps the head in a neutral position, reducing the pain of a fracture and preventing further damage. CTO (Cervical vertebrae-thoracic Orthosis) promotes healing by limiting movement by preventing flexion and extension of the cervical spine.
Figure 1 shows our previous regular CTO (Cervical vertebrae-thoracic Orthosis) product. It is mainly made of plastic and aluminum. The support effect is very good, but the weight is big. For patients who are looking for wearing comfort, the product will feel heavy after wearing.
Figure 2 is our recent new CTO (Cervical vertebrae-thoracic Orthosis) product. It mainly uses plastic parts and nitrogen foam. The overall weight is very light. It gives the patient a good wearing experience while meeting the restriction of neck and thoracic spine movement.
At the same time, this nitrogen foam of ours has passed the biocompatibility test, so it can safely touch the patient's skin!
About our new CTO (Cervical vertebrae-thoracic Orthosis), the way to wear it is also very simple. It is mainly attached by Velcro. Simply position the front and back foam and attach the velcro around the neck according to the appropriate neck circumference. Then attach the Velcro on the chest area to complete the wearing. This CTO (Cervical vertebrae-thoracic Orthosis) does not contain hardware and can support MRI programs and can also be used for first aid wear as well as post-operative recovery.
